When we take in a pulley for repair we have a comprehensive inspection process to ensure a quality rebuild. We start by tearing down the pulley assembly so all the components can be examined and we can provide an accurate quote for repairs.

Pulleys, Shafts and Bearings Before Rebuilding Process:

 

Minewear Solutions' Rebuilding Process Includes:

• Inspection of the bearings. Bearings can be rebuilt, repaired or replaced as necessary.
• Inspection of disks and rims for cracks.
• Inspection of the pulley shaft. Shafts can be replaced if necessary. Equipment for turning shafts to proper specifications for your application is onsite and we have experienced machinists on staff for shaft work.
• Pulley lagging is inspected and repaired when possible. When necessary, pulleys can be re-lagged with hot vulcanized SBR rubber lagging. We also offer vulcanized ceramic lagging.
• Before re-assembly, pulleys are sandblasted and steam-cleaned.
• Pulleys are then re-assembled, painted and ready to ship.
• Pickup and delivery is available within a 100-mile radius of Winfield, Alabama
